Unfortunately we don’t have lifts in any of our properties. All of our buildings are over 350 years old, and we truly appreciate the history and character they hold..

All of our apartments (apart from Retro Pad) have access to shared terraces. If you would like a private terrace, we recommend booking FA, SOL, or DOMA.

Our apartments are spread across three buildings in different locations:

• ALTANA is located at the bottom of Republic Street, next to Fort St. Elmo.

• SCALA is at the bottom of St. Paul Street.

• DOMA and Retro Pad are located just opposite SCALA.

Yes, all apartments have air conditioning units that can be set to either heating or cooling mode. It is very important to ensure that all windows are closed while using them; otherwise, the system will not work.

Upon arrival, our guests will find a welcome booklet with information about the house/apartment, local recommendations, and the Wi-Fi password too.

Early check-in and late check-out may be available depending on availability, and additional charges may apply. We also provide complimentary luggage storage before check-in and after check-out.

We do not provide an in-house laundry service, but there is a laundromat located on St. Paul Street. Alternatively, we can recommend SWAN Laundry Company.

The fastest and easiest way to reach us is by booking an Uber or Bolt once you exit the arrivals gate. There are usually plenty of cars available within a few minutes, and the ride typically costs around €15.

If you prefer to use public transport, you can take bus “ Airport 4”, which will bring you to the Valletta bus terminal. From there, you will need to walk down St. Paul Street or Republic Street, depending on which apartment you have booked.

Most of our kitchenettes are equipped for a simple breakfast or snack. You will find a single burner, a pan, a pot, a toaster, a kettle, and a coffee maker. Please note that we provide freshly ground beans for filter coffee; we do not have espresso machines, except in SOL and DOMA.

If you would like to do more cooking during your holiday, we recommend booking FA or DOMA, which offer more fully equipped kitchen facilities.

Guests staying at ALTANA share a kitchen between three studios. It is rarely busy, and our guests are always wonderful — a great opportunity to meet new acquaintances.
